About the band

PUNCHLINE 13 was created by Sly Rawk (ex-singer of MEN ‘O’ STEEL). He is joined by Matt Dorion and Hugo Larouche (ex HEROES DON’T DIE), Dave Marti and Yan Boudreault. ln February 2015, they released their first full length album, Cut The Rope. Since then, the album has been one the best Canadian sellers on iTunes Canada and the first single, Home, has received high spins on many major radio stations and Its video received high rotation on Much, MuchLoud and MusiquePlus across the country. This song is also playing at the BELL center during the Montreal Canadiens.

PUNCHLINE 13 worked with Jason Livermore and Bill Stevenson (RISE AGAINST, DESCENDENTS – All, ANTI-FLAG, ALKALINE TRIO, LAGWAGON…) at the legendaryBLASTING ROOM studio on their new single, Let’s Forget (feat. Paul Cargnello). This brand-new song is now available on all internet and mobile platforms.

The boys have recently teamed up with the French female vocalist, RAFFY to record two  brand  new versions of their single ‘What Will You Do?’ (A bilingual (French & English) version and an original english version). This title is certainly the most mainstream song from their first full length album ‘Cut The Rope’. With a powerful rock energy, awesome pop hooks and a Doo Wop Rock N’ Roll 50’s vibe, this single will surely hook up lots of new fans.

They have have worked with Kyle Black (All Time Low, Paramore, New Found Glory, 5 Seconds Of Summer, State Champs, Hit The Lights…) on their brand new single ”We Will Light A Fire”. This new summer ‘Pop Punk – Rock’ anthem will surely have you jumping around in no time!

The influences are ranging from ‘Skate Rock’ (Pop Punk) such as THE DESCENDENTS, DOUGHBOYS, WEEZER and GREEN DAY to some ’80’s hair metal’ such as MÖTLEY CRÜE and POISON to finally flirt with the 50’s by way of BUDDY HOLLY, EDDIE COCHRAN, CHUCK BERRY and ELVIS PRESLEY. This may explain the intensity and the “Arena Rock” vibe of their live performances.

They’ve toured with bands such as PENNYWISE, FACE TO FACE, THE ATARIS, MUSTARD PLUG, ANTI-FLAG, UNEARTH, MILLENCOLIN and have been on the VANS WARPED TOUR for two consecutive years (2014-2015), Pouzza Fest (2014-2015), CANADIAN MUSIC WEEK (2015 & 2016), International des Montgolfières in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Music4Cancer and countless other festivals.

Stay tuned! PUNCHLINE 13 are on a mission to make this world a fun place!!
